We are proud to now offer training materials for our candidates including theory paper question revision notes, complete practical lesson plans. We support all of our candidates with all requirements and offer advice free of charge where required.
The tests are no walk in the park – if you’re doing a CPCS test or NPORS then make sure you are fully prepared. Candidates will need to pass a theory test and show their skills in a challenging practical assessment. You must have passed the relevant Health and Safety Test before taking any test.

The CPCS and NPORS Red Trained Operator Card is issued on successful completion of the Theory and Practical Technical Tests
The CPCS TEST must be taken with a CPCS accredited test centre
NPORS can be taken on your site or at our site
Learn which theory and practical test you need to complete in order to gain a Red Trained Operator Card.
To get this card you need to (in this order):
- Pass the relevant CITB health, safety and environment test.
- Achieve the theory test (within two years of the CITB health, safety and environment test)
- Achieve the practical test (within six months of the theory test and within two years of the CITB health, safety and environment test).
